Simple Tips to boost your Career

If you want to excel in your career, you don’t need to spend day and night in office. You can get amazing results by following simple tips:

1.    Be reliable.  We all have come across people who can’t be trusted. So, avoid being that unreliable person. Be committed to your promises and be reliable person.

2.   Be on time. Whether it is for work or a meeting, you must be on time.  Analyze your work before committing and do it on time. Don’t give tight deadline because if you would not complete it on time, you may get into trouble.

3.   Be Impressive.  You must look like what you wish to be. Dress to impress. Always dress up one level from your peers. There is a dress code for each occasion, choose your cloths smartly. You’ll be surprised to see how much difference it makes.

4.   Be Resume Ready. Always keep your resume up-to-date. Spend a few minutes to add any new, relevant information to your resume every month. So, whenever a good opportunity comes, you’ll be ready to apply.

5.   Be Skill Ready. Good presentation skills are the key to success. You must build your skills regularly.

6.   Be indispensable. Some employees are so indispensable that the company goes out of its way to make them happy. Be sure your employer needs you. Be the master of your skill.
Keep a regular update with company’s requirement and update yourself accordingly. Be willing to perform well and lead tasks and take responsibilities.

7.    Find a mentor. Having a mentor is a blessing. The right mentor will take pride in helping you advance our career. A mentor can provide invaluable advice and introduce you to others who can be very beneficial to you. Many of the most successful corporate employees enjoyed the benefit of one or more mentors along the way.
